Tuesday morning Cafe and Foodbank

Each Tuesday morning our church building is a hive of activity as between 30 to 50 regulars attend the Cafe.

Some people come to have a hot breakfast, some just  to enjoy food not cooked by themselves, and many come for the company and friendship. We are grateful to Glasgow City Council for the grant they gave us this year towards the costs of the café which allows us to provide free food for all (although donations are welcome for those who wish to contribute).

There’s lots of conversation and camaraderie and a great opportunity to build relationships with those who attend.

Each Tuesday a couple of minutes are set aside for prayer together and a prayer book where prayer requests can be made is popular.

If you’re free and looking for a good breakfast & a blether on Tuesday mornings, then do pop in we would love to see you.

During café hours, a team of folks from PBC with the help of other members of the community provide a distribution point for Glasgow South West Foodbank Network.

We also usually have a rail of secondhand clothes that have been donated and are available free to anyone who needs them.

Pollok Baptist Church exists to glorify God through our worship and witness – showing the love of Jesus in our community.
